Exhibitions 2020 ILFORD CCP Salon Online Exhibition
Welcome to the 2020 ILFORD CCP Salon — supported by Milieu, Australia's largest photomedia competition and exhibition that proudly surveys and celebrates the work of our community from the past year. With artworks produced during the indelible challenges of 2020 and presented both here online and across CCP's exhibition spaces in the fullness of summer and a new year, 2020 Salon is a compelling presentation—one which offers a chance to reflect on what was and look forward to that which lays ahead.
Indeed, Salon continues to be a remarkable survey of photomedia artistic practice in our community. We are excited to present Salon in the online space for the first time, ensuring that participants and audiences alike are able to share in the visual delights of the 2020 Salon regardless of their ability to visit the gallery. The online show also allows you to take your time and view works in detail at your leisure. For any artworks that may have caught your eye in the gallery, or for our interstate and even international audience, online viewers are now able to revisit, review, and reach out to purchase a work. You can also find extensive documentation of the exhibition to view the works in the context of the gallery.
For our 2020 edition of Salon we received close to 800 entries from over 350 photographers across Australia. The standards were incredibly high and our esteemed judging panel of artists and arts professionals are excited to award 33 prize categories, supported by a number of leading industry organisations, to the value of $16,000.
